The Brampton Battalion defeated the Ottawa 67s 5-2 at the Civic Centre Friday night. The Battalion fired 48 shots at 67s goalies Adam Courchaine and Chris Perugini for the win. The loss was costly for the 67s, who lost Tyler Cuma for Saturday's road game against the Oshawa General after the forward re-injured his knee in his first game back in the lineup. Over 7,000 fans took in the game at the Civic Centre.
The Ottawa 67s are on the road for a Saturday afternoon game against the Oshawa Generals before returning to the Civic Centre for an afternoon game against Kingston on Sunday afternoon.
